How Umamusume Affinity Calculator Works
This tool simulates the inheritance compatibility system in Umamusume: Pretty Derby. Affinity (Compatibility) affects the success rate of inheritance events during training.
Calculation Logic
- Trait Matching: Characters share hidden "Affinity Groups" (e.g., Classmates, Roommates, Same Era). The more groups shared, the higher the score.
- Race Wins: In the actual game, winning the same G1 races adds bonus points. This calculator assumes base compatibility values.
- Parents & Grandparents: The compatibility score is a sum of relationships: Main ↔ Parents, and Parents ↔ Grandparents.
Tip: Aim for a Double Circle (◎). This guarantees a higher chance of blue, red, and green factor inheritance.

How is compatibility calculated?
Compatibility is calculated based on static "Relationship Points" assigned between every pair of characters. These points are based on anime lore, historical horse facts, and shared traits. Winning G1 races (which this static tool calculates as base affinity) further increases it.
What is the difference between ○ and ◎?
A single circle (○) represents decent compatibility (score > 50). A double circle (◎) represents excellent compatibility (score > 150). Double circle significantly boosts stat inheritance.
What does the Double Circle (◎) mean?
A Double Circle indicates high compatibility. This significantly increases the probability of inheriting factors (stats and skills) during the succession events in the game.
Does this calculator work for all scenarios?
Yes, affinity relies on the inherent relationships between the 'Uma Musume' characters themselves, regardless of the training scenario (URA, Aoharu, GM, etc.).
